Description

A delicious gluten-free apple pie made with sliced apples and a sweet streusel topping.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups gluten-free flour
  • 1 cup coconut oil
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 4 cups sliced apples
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix gluten-free flour, coconut oil, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Press half of the mixture into a pie pan to form the crust.
  4. In another bowl, combine sliced apples with lemon juice and maple syrup.
  5. Fill the crust with the apple mixture.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining streusel mixture over the apples.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes until apples are soft and topping is golden.
  8. Let it cool before serving.
