A delicious Pepperoni Cheese Lasagna that is perfect for family gatherings and weeknight dinners.

- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 20 slices pepperoni
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook Lasagna Noodles: Boil water in a large pot. Add a pinch of salt and cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare Cheese Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, the egg, 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix until smooth and set aside.
- Assemble the Lasagna: Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Place 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles. Sprinkle 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese on top. Add a layer of pepperoni slices. Repeat the layers: sauce, noodles, remaining ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and pepperoni. Top with remaining noodles, marinara sauce, mozzarella, and the rest of the Parmesan cheese. Arrange the remaining pepperoni slices on top.
- Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it Rest: Allow the lasagna to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.
