Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract; whisk until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients; stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Spoon batter into prepared muffin tins and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a healthier version, you can substitute vegetable oil with applesauce.
