A delicious and hearty baked spaghetti recipe with layers of flavors.
Ingredients

- 12 oz uncooked spaghetti
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- to taste salt & pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add ground beef, and cook until browned.
- Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half the spaghetti, meat sauce, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; uncover and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan. Bake for another 15 minutes until bubbly.
Notes
- This dish can be prepared a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for added nutrition.
