Description

A classic mirepoix recipe to add flavor to your favorite dishes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup diced carrot (about 2 medium)
  • 1 cup diced onion (about 1 medium)
  • 1 cup diced celery (about 2 ribs)

Instructions

  1. Peel and trim the vegetables.
  2. Dice finely.
  3. Add ⅓ cup of each to a freezer bag (remove as much air as possible before sealing) or in an airtight storage container to make 1 cup mirepoix total per portion.
  4. Store in the refrigerator for up to a week or in the freezer for up to 6 months.
  5. Use in favorite recipes as desired.
