Description

This creamy garlic salmon recipe is a deliciously rich dish that’s perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup spinach (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Add oil to a large skillet and season your salmon with salt and pepper. Pan sear the salmon by placing it skin side down over medium low heat.
  2. Let it cook for about 7 minutes and then flip the salmon over and cook for an additional 3 minutes until it is barely pink in the center. Set aside on a plate.
  3. Add minced garlic to the same pan and cook for one minute.
  4. Add the heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and parmesan cheese to the pan.
  5. Whisk in the cornstarch and let the sauce simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Add the spinach and sun-dried tomatoes and let simmer until the spinach starts to wilt.
  7. Add the salmon back to the pan, spoon the sauce over the fillets, and serve immediately.

  • For additional flavor, consider adding lemon zest or fresh herbs.
