- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced (button or cremini)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons black pepper (freshly ground for best flavor)

- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 bell pepper (red or green), sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions
- Begin by slicing the chicken, mushrooms, bell pepper, and onion. Mince the garlic and ginger for quick access.
- In a bowl, combine chicken pieces with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and a pinch of salt. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the marinated chicken to the skillet. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
- Toss in the sliced mushrooms, bell pepper, and onion. Stir-fry for an additional 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Pour in the chicken broth and add the black pepper. Allow the mixture to simmer for 3-4 minutes to adjust seasoning as needed.
- Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle with chopped green onions for a fresh finish.
