- 1 cup heavy cream

- Crushed nuts, for coating
- Colored sugar or edible glitter, for decoration
- 4 oz white chocolate, for drizzling
- Food coloring, optional for decorations
Instructions
- Prepare the Ganache:
- Place dark and milk chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
- Heat the heavy cream and butter in a saucepan over medium heat until steaming, not boiling.
- Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for 2 minutes. Stir until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and mix well.
- Chill the Ganache:
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours or until firm.
- Shape the Truffles:
- Once set, use a melon baller or a teaspoon to scoop out small amounts of ganache.
- Roll each scoop into a ball using your hands. It helps to dust your hands with cocoa powder to prevent sticking.
- Coat and Decorate:
- Roll the truffles in cocoa powder, shredded coconut, or crushed nuts.
- Melt the white chocolate and optionally add food coloring. Drizzle over the truffles for added decoration.
- Sprinkle with colored sugar or edible glitter as desired.
- Final Chill:
- Place the decorated truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
