Description

A delicious recipe for honey glazed pork tenderloin that is succulent and tender.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 to 1.5 lbs pork tenderloin
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, and apple cider vinegar. Mix well until fully combined.

  2. Marinate the Pork: Season the pork tenderloin with salt and pepper. Place the pork in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the pork, ensuring it’s fully coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight to enhance flavor.

  3. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  4. Sear the Pork: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the pork from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and sear it in the skillet for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.

  5. Roast the Pork: Transfer the pork to a baking dish. Pour the reserved marinade over it. Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

  6. Glaze the Pork: Every 5-10 minutes, baste the pork with the marinade in the dish.

  7. Rest and Serve: Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Slice and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure the pork does not overcook to maintain tenderness; use a meat thermometer for precision.
  • You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade for a spicy kick.
  • For a richer flavor, let the pork marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
