Description

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 2 ripe pears (sliced)
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares or circles suitable for tartlet pans, pressing them into place.
  3. Toss sliced pears with brown sugar and cinnamon. Spread them on a lined baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes until tender.
  4. In a bowl, mix mascarpone cheese with vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Layer the roasted pears over the mascarpone in each pastry shell.
  6. Bake the assembled tartlets for an additional 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
