- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 ¼ cups warm water (about 110°F)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, instant yeast, and salt.
- Gradually add warm water while stirring until the dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Fold in shredded cheddar cheese.
- Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm spot for about an hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Transfer dough to preheated Dutch oven and bake covered for 30 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
