Description

A delicious Indian-style cabbage dish that can be enjoyed both hot and cold.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cabbage (sliced)
  • 1/2 small onion (diced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/3 tsp salt
  • 1/3 tsp coriander
  • 1/3 tsp curry powder
  • 1/3 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp ginger (ground)
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup vegetable broth (or water)

Instructions

  1. Fry the cabbage in oil for 7 minutes at low heat, stirring occasionally.
  2. Wait for the cabbage to soften and brown around the edges.
  3. Add the onion, stir and fry everything together for another 5 minutes.
  4. Add salt, spices, garlic and stir, fry for another 3 minutes.
  5. Pour in 1/4 cup broth or water, stir and cover the pan with a lid.
  6. After 5-7 minutes, Indian cabbage will be ready.
