Description

Delicious crispy chicken taquitos filled with shredded chicken, garlic, and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lbs)
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 10 corn tortillas
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil (vegetable or olive oil)

Instructions

  1. Cook chicken breasts in a skillet over medium heat until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Shred while warm.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then mix in taco seasoning and shredded chicken.
  3. Warm corn tortillas briefly in a dry skillet to soften them. Spoon filling onto each tortilla and sprinkle with cheese. Roll tightly.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry taquitos seam-side down until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
  5. Drain excess oil on paper towels and serve hot with your favorite toppings.
