- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Boil water in a large pot, adding a pinch of salt. Add macaroni and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the Beef Mixture: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Add garlic and cook for another minute. Add ground beef, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano. Cook until browned.
- Combine Ingredients: Stir in diced tomatoes (with juices) and tomato paste. Allow to simmer for 10 minutes. Add cooked macaroni to the beef mixture, stirring well.
- Add Cheese: Reduce heat and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. Stir until the cheese melts and blends with the mixture.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve hot.
