- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 8 oz wide egg noodles
- 1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the egg noodles until al dente; drain without rinsing.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with diced onion until cooked through.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked noodles, browned beef, cream of mushroom soup, mixed vegetables, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- This dish can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables or substitute the meat for chicken or turkey.
