Description

A comforting beef and noodle casserole that is easy to make and perfect for a family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 8 oz wide egg noodles
  • 1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the egg noodles until al dente; drain without rinsing.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with diced onion until cooked through.
  4. In a large bowl, combine cooked noodles, browned beef, cream of mushroom soup, mixed vegetables, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
